Patient Details:

This 50 year old African American female had an initial left mastectomy followed by radiation therapy for breast carcinoma. She underwent reconstruction with a left latissimus flap and tissue expander simultaneous with right prophylactic mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with tissue expander, followed by placement of silicone gel prostheses on both sides.
