This 57 year old woman is 5 ft. 7 in. tall and weighs 180 pounds. Her preoperative bra size is 38 DDD. She underwent a modified inferior pedicle reduction mammaplasty by Dr. Kalus with a total of 692 grams removed from her right breast and 802 grams from her left breast. She is seen one year following her surgery, and was extremely pleased with her result, reporting complete resolution of her pre-operative symptoms of neck, back and shoulder pain and strain, digging in of her bra straps, and occasional skin irritation underneath her breasts. She has a skin condition called vitiligo (partial loss of pigment) which is unrelated to her surgery.
